Product Overview

The TINDO YX-500 and YX-1000 industrial smokehouses are large-scale smoking, drying, and steaming systems built for high-volume meat factories — handling 500 kg to 1,000 kg per batch with four door configurations: double-door, four-door, and channel type (tunnel). These are the machines for plants processing sausage, ham, bacon, jerky, and smoked poultry at production scale, where batch consistency and throughput directly determine contract profitability.

Like the compact YX-series, both heating modes are available — steam (room temperature to 100°C) for moist smoking and electric (up to 140°C) for drying. Four-door and channel configurations allow multi-trolley loading for continuous production flow: load one end, process, unload the other.

The channel (tunnel) configuration is the key differentiator for industrial lines: product enters at one end and exits at the other, allowing the smokehouse to operate as part of a continuous production sequence rather than a batch island.

The electric heating option on the YX-1000 delivers 119.18 kW — sufficient to hold a 1,000 kg load at target temperature even during peak drying phases. Steam heating integrates with an existing factory boiler at standard pressure.

Uniform Multi-Trolley Air Circulation

With 2-4 trolleys loaded (standard trolley: 1013×1060×1700 mm), uniform temperature distribution across every rack level is the difference between a consistent product and a rejected batch. The YX-500/1000 uses high-capacity circulation fans with adjustable airflow, verified during factory acceptance testing with a multi-point thermocouple array.

PLC Programmable Cycles for Production Consistency

Full process automation: smoke → dry → steam sequences with per-stage temperature, time, and smoke intensity control. Recipe memory holds product programs, and data logging supports HACCP traceability — a requirement for export-oriented meat processors.

Q: What's the difference between double-door and channel configurations?

Double-door has access from front and rear for batch loading. Channel (tunnel) has separate infeed and outfeed ends — product enters one side and exits the other, integrating the smokehouse into a continuous production line.

Q: Can I upgrade from steam to electric heating later?

The YX-500/1000 ships with both heating modes available on all models. You select the mode per recipe — no hardware change needed. If your factory gains a boiler later, steam mode is already installed.

Q: What smoke sources can be used?

Internal smoke generator accepts standard wood chips — hickory, applewood, cherry, beech, mesquite. Smoke intensity is adjustable per process stage.

Q: Is the machine HACCP-ready?

Yes. PLC data logging records temperature and cycle data per batch for traceability. All food-contact surfaces are SUS304. Full washdown design with sloped floors and drains.

Q: What's the lead time and installation requirement?

Standard lead time 30-45 days. Installation requires 380V 3-phase supply and floor space per the machine dimensions table. TINDO provides on-site installation and operator training.
