Product Description

JR Series Industrial Meat Grinder (600 - 5000 Kg/h)

The JR Series Industrial Meat Grinder is a heavy-duty, high-efficiency meat processing equipment widely utilized in large-scale food production lines, central kitchens, and sausage processing plants. Designed to deliver superior uniform particle shapes, it forces raw meat from the hopper into the pre-cut panel zone through high-torque screw extrusion, ensuring the highest consistency of your final meat patties or fillings.

Whether handling fresh meat or block-frozen meat down to -18°C, the Tindotech JR series guarantees continuous operation without clogging or damaging the meat fiber.

Key Performance Benefits

  • Versatile Material Handling & Frozen Meat Grinding: Specifically engineered to handle frozen blocks effortlessly, reducing prep time, labor costs, and maintaining meat freshness and food quality.

  • Low-Temperature Rise for Extended Shelf Life: The precision-engineered twist-cut process ensures a short grinding cycle and minimum temperature rise, which inhibits bacterial growth and significantly extends product shelf life.

  • Zero-Clogging Reversible Feature: Equipped with an intelligent forward and reverse rotation system, eliminating the possibility of machine jamming and reducing maintenance downtime to zero.

  • Food-Grade SUS304 Stainless Steel: The entire structure is made of heavy-duty SUS304 stainless steel, compliant with international food hygiene standards and easy to wash down.

  • Customizable Orifice Combinations: A wide variety of hole plates/orifice combinations are available to achieve your ideal grind size for various meat products.

Fresh vs. Frozen: JR-120/130/160 work best with fresh (0–4°C) or lightly chilled meat. JR-250/300 are built for frozen blocks down to -18°C. If you run frozen, jump straight to JR-250.

Orifice Plate Selection: Finding Your Perfect Grind

The orifice plate (hole plate) determines the final grind size. Here's what each size is best for:

Plate Hole (mm)

Grind Texture

Best Applications

3–5 mm

Fine mince

Hot dogs, bologna, emulsified sausages, baby food

6–8 mm

Medium grind

Breakfast sausage, meatballs, burger patties

10–13 mm

Coarse grind

Fresh sausage, chorizo, chili meat, pet food

16–20 mm

Extra coarse

Stew meat, ground beef for packaging, first-pass grinding before second fine grind

Pro tip: For premium burger patties, use a two-pass grind — coarse (13 mm) first pass, then medium (6 mm) second pass. This creates a looser, more tender patty texture.

Applications

1. Meat Processing Factories

Ideal for processing frozen/fresh beef, pork, mutton, and chicken breasts.

2. Prepared Food Production

Perfect for high-volume sausage, meatball, and hamburger patty production lines.

3. Pet Food Industry

Efficiently handles large-scale raw meat mincing for pet food manufacturing.

Real-World Production Tips

  • Pre-chill the meat. Meat at 0°C grinds cleaner than meat at 10°C. Colder meat produces less smear and a sharper particle definition.

  • Change plates regularly. A dull plate drags instead of cuts, raising meat temperature and producing pasty texture. Replace or resharpen every 30–50 tons of throughput.

  • Reverse before shutdown. Run the machine in reverse for 15–20 seconds at the end of each shift to clear meat from the screw and prevent overnight bacterial growth.

  • Monitor amperage. If the motor draws more current than the specification, your plates are dull or a bone fragment is caught. Stop and inspect — do not force it.

For daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance procedures, follow our Meat Processing Machine Maintenance Checklist.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: Can the JR Series grind fully frozen meat blocks directly?

Yes! Models JR-250 and JR-300 are heavy-duty frozen meat grinders designed to process raw meat down to -18°C directly, saving you the time and space required for meat thawing.

Q2: How do I change the size of the ground meat?

The final grind size is determined by the orifice combination plates. Tindotech offers customized hole diameters. You can easily swap the plates to switch from coarse grinding for sausages to fine mincing for fillings.
